Oral Administration of Trimin in the Treatment of Nausea and Vomiting During Pregnancy

Abstract

|
We treated 26 pregnant women with nausea and vomiting by using trimin(perphenazine HCI) per os. The usual dosage was 8 to 12mg daily for 5 days on average, and severity of the nausea and vomiting was expressed as "+" ,"+f-", "-", and "-" means complete abolition of the symptoms..
Blood pressure was checked before and after the medication in order to seek out whether the blood pressure might fall down or not due to the drug.
1) Good responsed cases were. 24 (92/) and no-responsed were 2(8%) out of the total ,26 cases. 2) Falling down of blood pressure was found in. 14 cases(54/o) and 12 cases(46%) were ,not changed. 3) There was no different data to the patient parity.
4) Out of this main study, "Trimin" was medicated to a few post operative nausea and restless cases with good result, too.
